Fabulous and truly unique shot - where did you take it from ? we are taking our first trip from England to the USA in a couple of week's time and I would love to catch this view (but I now I will not be able to take a shot like this, even though yours is a great inspiration!) :) x

Jeanmark,

Sorry for the late response, I'm on exam schedule these past 2 weeks.
Please enjoy your time in the USA. Depend on the places you visit you will have a significantly experience. I've been to many parts of the US and I think beyond cities is the highlight of US. Places like Yosemite, Muir Woods, or Grand Canyon, Arches National Park, Zion, Cape Code, or the Glaciers of Alaska. Truely its very diverse. Being a californian, I've been blessed to be living in a nice urban environment of San francisco but also 1/2 hour from a forest, 3 hrs from snowy mountaings, 5 hrs from a desert and mostly living in valley conditions. I encourage you to go beyond just the city.

As for this shot, This is a common trail that all the locals run to, Its next to the fort that's under teh bridge. Its was decommissioned after WWII. While running a photo sunset tutorial, I notice many people running to that hole to tap it, as a goal marker, then run back. I used that as an inspiration for framing this bridge after I realize it was such an uncommon view of the Bridge

Enjoy your time in the us.

Best,
G

Super shot! where is that chain link fence?

If you jog along the park, there's a tag space where you reach the end. The fence is right there.
